Renowned amongst birdwatchers for hosting thousands of migratory birds each year, Hado-ri's vital habitat, including endangered species such as the Black-faced Spoonbill, was the inspiration for artist Kim Dong-ho to craft the mobile's unique design entirely from upcycled materials, including discarded plastics. The free form shape of the mobile symbolises the natural beauty of Hado-ri and the untamed freedom of flight enjoyed by the area's birds.
