The 〈REST IN PIECES CHAIR〉 is a distinctive chair crafted from discarded full-threaded bolts and plastics, materials commonly found as waste at construction sites and households. Collaboratively designed by LOWLIT COLLECTIVE and NICE WORKSHOP (led by Hyunseog Oh), the chair is aptly titled "From Cradle to Grave," signifying its use of materials continuously produced and discarded in our daily lives. Through this product, they aspire to illustrate the transformative process of reviving discarded pieces, creating an everyday piece of furniture enriched with a profound narrative.
